How Front Illuminated signs are fabricated 

Front illuminated signs are typically fabricated as individual 3D channel letters or logo elements, with a durable aluminium body and a translucent acrylic face. The letter shapes are precision-cut to the approved artwork, with the aluminium returns and back forming each letter's structure. LED modules are then positioned inside the letters according to their size, depth and shape to create bright, consistent illumination across the face without visible hotspots. The acrylic face diffuses the LED light, creating the clean, even glow associated with front-lit signage. LED systems are available in a range of white colour temperatures and colours, allowing you to tailor the illumination to the brand and environment.

Mounting and installation

Once fabricated and tested, each sign is supplied with a bespoke mounting solution based on the building façade and the sign's size and weight. Individual letters can be mounted directly to the wall using concealed fixings and threaded studs, or installed onto a discreet backing or raceway where appropriate. A full-size mounting template can be used to accurately position and align multiple letters, while cabling is routed through the façade or concealed within the mounting system.
