At Forma Signs, we use 8x16mm LED neon tubing, adhered to a 5mm clear or coloured acrylic backing. Signs can be simple illuminated lettering or more detailed branded designs using UV-printed acrylic.

How our LED neon is made
We produce our LED neon signs using 8mm×16mm LED neon tubing, shaped to follow your lettering, logo, or artwork, and securely adhered to a 5mm acrylic backing. We can supply acrylic in clear or a range of colours, depending on the look you want. Clear acrylic creates a more minimal, floating appearance, while coloured acrylic can become part of the overall design.
For more detailed logos, graphics or artwork, we can also offer UV-printed acrylic backing. This allows additional colour, detail and branding to be incorporated alongside the illuminated neon elements, making it possible to create more complex designs without compromising the neon effect.
Mounting and installation
LED neon is considerably lighter and easier to handle than traditional glass neon, making it a practical option for both small and large installations. Each sign includes fixing screws for straightforward mounting, with the appropriate fixing method depending on the installation surface. Signs can be specified for indoor or outdoor use, with suitable weatherproofing for exterior applications.
