What is Forma Signs’ returns policy?

Forma Signs accepts returns, replacements, or refunds for faulty products only.

All Forma Signs products are made to order and manufactured to the specifications agreed during the quotation and approval process. For this reason, we do not accept returns or cancellations due to a change of mind, incorrect measurements supplied by the customer, or design approval errors once production has begun.

If a product is found to be faulty, Forma Signs will assess the issue and may, at its discretion, repair, replace, partially refund, or fully refund the product. Any resolution — including refunds of product and/or shipping costs — is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing and approving all specifications, drawings, and quotations prior to manufacture. Any discrepancies must be raised before production commences.

Returns procedure for faulty products

If you believe your product is faulty, please follow the steps below:

  1. Contact Forma Signs as soon as possible, outlining the issue.

  2. Provide clear photographs and video evidence of:

    • The product

    • The fault or damage

    • The original packaging

  3. If adequate photo or video evidence is not provided, our ability to diagnose or resolve the issue may be limited.

  4. Once we have reviewed the information, we will confirm the appropriate resolution.

If a return is agreed:

  • The product must be returned in its original condition, including original packaging.

  • The return must be sent to the address provided by Forma Signs.

  • Faulty items must be returned within 14 days of delivery. Items returned outside this period may no longer be eligible for a refund or replacement.

If a replacement is approved, Forma Signs will manufacture and ship the replacement at no additional cost, subject to stock availability and production timelines.

Any agreed refund (full or partial) will be processed promptly once the matter is resolved.

What if my sign arrives damaged?

Upon delivery, customers must inspect the product and packaging immediately.
Do not install, mount, or alter the sign until a full inspection has been completed.

If your sign arrives damaged due to carrier handling:

  • You must notify Forma Signs within 72 hours of delivery

  • You must provide:

    • Photos of all four sides of the packaging

    • Photos and/or video of the damaged product

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined by the carrier, and the product may no longer be eligible for replacement or refund.

Depending on the nature and severity of the damage, Forma Signs may issue a replacement, partial refund, or full refund.

Damage after delivery or handling

Forma Signs is not liable for damage caused by:

  • Improper handling

  • Incorrect installation

  • Negligence

  • Accidental impact after delivery inspection

If damage occurs after the initial inspection period, Forma Signs may review the case but cannot guarantee eligibility for a refund or replacement.

Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate handling, storage, and installation conditions for all signage products.

Electrical installation & hardwiring

Where applicable, signs may be hardwired only by a qualified electrician.

  • Most Forma Signs illuminated products operate at low voltage

  • Installation requirements vary depending on product type and site conditions

  • Adequate access behind walls or mounting surfaces is often required

Please note:

Hardwiring or modification of a product may void any applicable warranty, as it may prevent us from accurately determining the cause of a fault.

Worldwide shipping & import duties

Forma Signs ships worldwide.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Local import duties

  • Taxes

  • Customs clearance fees

These costs are not included in quotations unless explicitly stated.

Gift cards

Forma Signs gift cards, where offered, are non-refundable and non-returnable.
